Born in 1972, graduated from the paris school of decorative arts in 1997, Frédéric Teschner started his professional life with pierre di sciullo, and then went on to the “atelier de création graphique” with pierre bernard, before striking out as a freelance graphic artist at the end of 2002. Since then, Frédéric Teschner has worked regularly with architects (pierre-jorge gonzalez and judith haase aas, paris/berlin), designers (françois azambourg, pierre charpin, david dubois, martin szekely), young choreographers (compagnie kataline patkaï), art galleries (insitu/fabienne leclerc, kreo) or the gennevilliers theater. Since 2003, Frédéric Teschner has devised the visual identification elements for several exhibitions (catalogue and exhibition room) at the pompidou center in paris, in particular the “espace 315” exhibition (inaugurated 2004 as part of an exhibition on recent contemporary creation) and the “airs de paris” exhibition which celebrated the 30th birthday of the pompidou center in 2007. This last two years have seen increased collaboration with museums (the shoah memorial in paris, mac/val in vitry-sur-seine, and more recently the museum of modern art in paris as well as the grand palais); art centers (villa noailles in hyères; cneai in châtou; dca, an association federating numerous contemporary art centers in france); and institutions rules by the french ministry for culture such as the plastic arts center (cnap) and the plastic arts delegation (dap).
