Niépce (Nicéphore)

Joseph Nicéphore Niépce was born in 1765 in Chalon-surèSaône and died in 1833. He was a french engineer, considered as the inventor of photography. After working with heliography, Niépce collaborates with Daguerre in 1829, with whom he develops his most famous invention: photography. Nowadays, Joseph Niépce's works are still very often used in photography, medium of which he was a pioneer.
