David Dubois - Vase BULB - Poster
The BULB vase imagined by David Dubois results from the unusual association of two objects whose initial functions differ: a vase and a simple water glass, transformed into a portable lamp.
This poster accompanies the BULB vase imagined by David Dubois which results from the unusual association of two objects whose initial functions differ: a vase of archetypal shape and a simple water glass, transformed into a portable lamp/handlamp. The vase, diverted from its original purpose, serves as a support and the glass, cut and sanded with a traditional design to enhance it, has become a lampshade. The electric cord is not hidden and beyond its first application, asserts itself as a graphical link between the various elements of the lamp. The colours of the materials (a smoky-brown glass vase, a sanded lampshade and black equipment) make the magic complete.
