The MusVerre has entrusted Dominique Sampiero with the creation of an anthology to echo the theme "Desire" of the Printemps des Poètes 2021. Under the title "Le désir de la lettre", this anthology is inspired by the research of the designer Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc, "Lettres de verre", in residence at the MusVerre in 2020 with the four master glassmakers associated with this project, Hugues Desserme, Simon Muller, Didier Richard and Stéphane Rivoal. Sibertin-Blanc (Jean-Baptiste)
Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc is not a glassmaker, glassblower or stained glass artist, but glass has been an essential part of his work for 25 years. As creative director of the Daum crystal glassworks (1999-2011), he has acquired a multiple and transversal vision of this material, meeting artists, creators and craftsmen in numerous workshops. He has collaborated with numerous houses and institutions: Black Body, Cheval Blanc, Cub-ar, LG, LVMH, Meisenthal, Maison Berger, Mobilier national, the dioceses of Saint-Dié and Toul, Puiforcat, Saint-Gobain, Saint-Louis, Salviati, etc.
