Grégoire Korganow. Un temps de rêve

In a straightforward approach of reality, Grégoire Korganow focuses on the invisible, the off-camera and the insignificant. Bodies, their stigmas as well as social metamorphoses hold a prominent place in his work. He frequently gives photography workshops in France and abroad, especially during the Rencontres d’Arles.

Grégoire Korganow spent a year-long residency at the Maison Nationale des Artistes (from September 2015 to September 2016) to prepare this exhibition around the theme of dream, a photographic project that involved choreographers. For this exhibition, Grégoire Korganow has staged and photographed the dreams of the retired residents of the Maison Nationale des Artistes -former painters, sculptors, writers or poets.

Un temps de rêve was held from September 16^th to November 27^th, 2016.
