This set consists of an exceptional trilogy: the result of an endless dialogue between the works of three artists, Marc Alexandre Oho Bambe, Fred Ebami and Alain Larribet. This elegant black paper set is a limited edition of 50. The parenthesis opened by Alexandre Oho Bambe’s text, Fragments, is widened and enriched by the unique sound and pictorial work of Alain Larribet and Fred Ebami (an original etching and a vinyl cover design).
A real artistic dialogue opens up between these artists who express the same desire to put down the walls between different worlds, mixing genres and people around a set of works without fire, which praises and sings humanness. This set proposes a real bridge between different esthetic worlds.
Written by Marc Alexandre Oho Bambe, Fragment is a long text that explains, without dictating, the utopias that found our society and build our identity. Out of faith. Walkers and art researchers. Looking for meaning, light and peace.
The original etching by graffiti designer and pop artist Fred Ebami is an invitation to daydream. Representing colorful and whirling rhizome-like patterns, it draws connection between usually distinct universes.
A vinyl completes this trilogy. The music composed by Alain Larribet with lyrics by Marc Alexandre Oho Bambe is an invitation to continue this exploration into humanness in chorus and blue notes. The vinyl is presented in a sleeve designed by Fred Ebami.
