"Triptych for a Cross" is one of Vera Molnár's latest creations, conceived in October 2023 for her exhibition at Galerie 8+4 "Cent (ou mille) façon de faire" (from 14-10-2023 to 20-01-2024). This triptych was created at the same time as the artist was producing, in the course of 2023, one hundred drawings on the theme of the cross and its possible variations. This work of investigating a motif, carried out daily by the artist, was carried out like a 'programme' based on the simple intersection of two lines, offering all possible variations. "I don't know if I can explain this intersection, but it's magical! Because it ceases to be horizontal or vertical, it ceases to be a line segment: it's a cross!
