Philippe Favier. All over (limited edition)

The major retrospective of Philippe Favier's work presented at the Musée de Valence (September 2020 - August 2021), is the occasion to publish his first major monograph. This 250-page book, conceived as a carefully crafted object, retraces the artist's career, from his earliest works to the most recent and, for the most part, unpublished. Accompanied by a rich and varied iconography, it brings together texts by authoritative art historians and curators: Bernard Ceysson, Thierry Raspail, Pascale Soleil, Amélie Adamo. All of them have contributed essential insights into the work of Philippe Favier.

For this important edition, the artist has specially produced a first edition.

The book is enriched with an original gouache drawing, with a mark on cut paper: "Eclipse". Each of the 15 drawings in the first edition is unique. This drawing, made on a sheet of Sirio Ultra Black paper, is inserted at the opening of the book.
