Docking Mirror - Lukas Saint-Joigny
Suspended in a room, this double-faceted mirror changes the perception of space.
Suspended in a room, this double-faceted mirror changes the perception of space. The (black and green) lines drawn by the colored ropes graphically shape the space. The rope is tied to a concrete docking weight, which is used to lock the mirror in the desired position. This self-locking system allows for different positioning of the mirror in space.
The Docking Mirror was showcased at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris for the D’Days 2016. Coedition ESAD de Reims / Bernard Chauveau Edition.
