Blower is a mirror created in two shades of colors, black and red. It is covered with a layer of vivid color applied in concentric circles. The mirror requires the viewer to move around in order to create a kinetic experience through the play of shades and vibrant chiaroscuros within the mirror. Colors act like filters on the reflected images: the black captures depth and the red highlights intensity.
The Blower Mirror was showcased at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris for the D’Days 2016. Coedition ESAD de Reims / Bernard Chauveau Edition.
