When it comes to colour, Odon’s work covers a huge amount of possibilities : his weaved spirals and nebulas are bright and colourful.

"I would like to carry the world with braids. Why make me write about my work? If painting chose me, it’s because it knew I was incapable of expressing myself in any other way. Why make me talk about my work? If I must add the verb to the colour, it’s that I haven’t been far enough.

Painting is a mute art. At the start, there were only blue, yellow and red. But with those three colours and the possible blends, we are given the power to colour everything, we shouldn’t deprive ourselves! Painting? It’s very simple – Bach said, Music? It’s very simple: just press on the right key at the right time."

Odon

For more than twenty years, Odon has been weaving. He « weaves colour ». He weaves straps of double sided wallpaper into polychrome art works, structured by expanding beams; they are cosmic nebulas bursting with colour.
