Daraspe (Roland)
Roland Daraspe was born on the 20th of september 1950 in Versailles. He is a goldsmith and Master of Arts. In 1968 he got a boilermaker diploma and an aeronautical mecanics certificate in 1971. He lives and works in Macau, in Gironde. In 2003, he was elected a member of the Académie nationale des sciences, belles-lettres et arts de Bordeaux. Roland Daraspe was named Master of Arts by the ministry of Culture in 2002. http://www.daraspe.com/
Pillet (Christophe)
(born 1959, lives and works in Paris) With a degree from Arts Décoratifs in Nice in 1985, and a Master’s from Domus Academy in Milan in 1986, Christophe Pillet worked with Martine Bedin in Milan from 1986 to 1988. In 1988 he moved to Paris to work for 5 years with Philippe Starck. His first pieces of furniture were edited by Xo in 1991. In May 1993 he set up his own independent agency, and in 1994 was voted Creator of the Year. He handles projects in numerous domaines such as furniture design, product design, interior architecture, architecture, scenography and artistic direction. Companies he works with include Artelano, Bally, Bernardaud, Cappellini, Ceccotti, Daum, JC Decaux, Domeau & Pérès, Driade, Ecart International, Edra, E&Y, Fontana Arte, JC Jitrois, Lacoste, L’Oréal, Catherine Malandrino, AV Mazzega, Renault, Serralunga, Shiseido, Toulemonde Bochart, Trussardi, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Whirlpool.
