Art Paris Art Fair

Art Paris is an opportunity to propose exceptional historical or emblematic works in certain practices. Thus, we are pleased to present several interventions on fabric dating from the 1970s by Christian Jaccard. Never exhibited to the public, these impregnations of colour in the fabric weave are worth a visit to our stand. Just as exceptional is the artist's book created by Giuseppe Penone during a residency at the Tourette convent. The artist delivers here a true ode to colour which reveals, by means of rubbings on the walls of the convent, the discreet and poetic presence of nature within the very architecture of Le Corbusier. A tireless discoverer of the unexpected, Lionel Sabatté will present a set of photographs with dust on canvas and paper. All of them attest to a reconsideration of his practice, in which the motif takes on an allure that is openly in touch with his perception of reality and nature. Art Paris will be the occasion to present Claire Trotignon's latest monumental multiple, imagined as an all-over of textures in blue. Finally, Philippe Favier will once again delight our curiosity with a series of representations of the human body, all taken from a set of anatomical plates from the 1930s, which he has fun diverting according to his fantasies.
