Every year, the Académie d'Architecture awards an architecture book prize, with the aim of raising public and reader awareness of architecture, urban planning and the environment, in all forms, from essays to novels. For the past four years, it has also awarded a prize for architectural books for young people, "contributing in this way to the necessary acculturation of citizens to architecture". Finally, for the second year running, it has awarded a prize for architectural books to the student jury.
