Echo Mirror / Lucas Ramond
This mirror in three distinct parts (triptych) creates a variety of effects and reflection.
This mirror in three distinct parts (triptych) creates a variety of effects and reflection. Combining an ancient technique of metal polishing and contemporary techniques of electrolytic deposition and laser etching, this mirror plays with duality: duality of techniques, of materials, of reflections, of imperfections. It plays with the observer, and has him experiment various possible reflection effects.
The Echo Mirror was showcased at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris for the D’Days 2016. Coedition ESAD de Reims / Bernard Chauveau Edition.
