Designer David Dubois, during his Cirva residency at Marseilles in 2014, experimented with variations on a volume of blown glass, and brought forth a luminous, suspended object.
The piece he imagined, that can be either displayed as a mural or posed on a flat surface, is drawn with and around a conducting wire crossing through it and supporting it, playing with verticals in space.
The “hands free” method of glass blowing, used by the glassblowers at Cirva, produces forms that are always different.
Edition realized in collaboration with Cirva.
