For the 2026 edition of Art Antwerp, Galerie 8+4 is delighted to present an exceptional selection of works by Lionel Sabatté. Created through oxidation on canvas, these works conjure a powerful, fantastical panorama of animals, including wild boar and deer, emerging straight from his reimagined world of cave art.
Alongside these works, a series of hand-embellished drawings by Edi Dubien explores how our identities, imaginations and dreams take shape through a unique relationship with the living world.
Providing a counterpoint, a selection of drawings by the Sœurs Chevalme follows their 2026 Villa Albertine residency in Houston, Texas. These works celebrate the life and popular cultures of contemporary communities against a political history shaped by segregation that persists to this day.
Art Antwerp will also offer an opportunity to discover the latest tapestry by the established artist Pierre Buraglio, accompanied by a selection of previously unseen drawings paying tribute to Braque’s birds.
Finally, the work of emerging artist Marguerite Maréchal will be unveiled—a discovery not to be missed!
