Bernar Venet
Bernar Venet, born in 1941, lives between Paris and Le Muy.
Bernar Venet needs no introduction as a central figure on the international art scene. Considered one of the creators of conceptual art, he has been developing his work since the 1970s, focusing mainly on sculpture but also painting and performance art. Our gallery is proud to have produced the artist's first textile creations: a tapestry in 2020 and a carpet in 2025. As usual, these exceptional works are intended to be a transposition, through weaving, wool, and silk, of his drawings or recent sculptures with indeterminate lines. Bernar Venet's works are present in the most prestigious international institutions, including MoMA, the Guggenheim, LACMA, and the Centre Georges Pompidou.
