Pierrette Bloch - Chutes
“This series of 12 drawings happened a bit by chance, out of bits and pieces of previous drawings." Pierrette Bloch
“This series of 12 drawings happened a bit by chance, out of bits and pieces of previous drawings. But on the contrary of what happened before and of what generally happens, those ones were easy to put together. I drew them using the rough side of oil pastels, which allowed me to be subtle yet sharp at the same time. There is a big gab between each drawing, so the rhythm is very different from the tight series I made until then.”
The edition is made of 12 screeprints along with an original signed drawing.
Text by David Quéré from the conversations held with the artist between March and April 2016. The set is presented in a black canvas case.
