Formes du silence at La Tourette

Le Corbusier used to say his buildings were made of concrete and light. Light, as an architectural material, is the common thread of this exhibition catalogue that draws parallels between the silent works of four artists: Geneviève Asse, Jaromir Novotny, Friedericke von Rauch and Michel Verjux.

A meditative journey through the various intensities of light: tenuous, when cast in shadows, delicate and slowly revealing shapes that dissolve in its brightness while playing with the architecture of the convent.

The audience is invited to a sensitive experience through subtle variations of light and to discover shapes that open up to a world of silence.

Le Corbusier's work is now listed as Unesco World Heritage!
