To mark the fiftieth anniversary of the priory of La Tourette, the artist François Morellet was invited to stage an exhibition of his works that would resonate with Le Corbusier's architecture and spatial features.
In the same spirit, three contemporary photographers (Philippe Chancel, Stéphane Couturier and Pascal Hausherr) were invited to live-in at La Tourette and record in photos what they saw.
The book includes a historical section showing various stages in the construction of the priory, together with unpublished correspondence between Le Corbusier and the Dominican brothers. Texts in English by brother Jean-Marie Gueulette, o.p., Damien Sausset and brother Marc Chauveau, o. p.
