Guillaume Millet / Une peinture à double fond

Guillaume Millet is a painter and drawer, born in 1970 in Rennes.
He holds a degree in art history from Paris IV and teaches drawing and painting in a preparatory class at the Edouard Manet municipal art school in Gennevilliers.
He has exhibited at the Plateau in Paris as part of the Voir en peinture exhibition, and at the Grand Palais for La force de l'art, invited by Éric de Chassey. He has collaborated for several years with the Bernard Jordan gallery in Paris and Zurich, and with the Nathalie Clouard gallery in Rennes.
In addition to several solo exhibitions in galleries and art centres, including the Espace de l'Art Concret where he was in residence. He has participated in group exhibitions in France and abroad such as Immatérialité at Topographie de l'art, Orthogonal at the Red House in Sofia, Corps invisible at the Galerie Édouard Manet. He has carried out several commissions in the context of the 1% art scheme and his works have been acquired by the Frac Franche-Comté and the Cnap.
More recently, he has had a solo exhibition at the Atelier W in Pantin and at the Galerie Éric Linard. He has also presented paintings at the Joseph Tang Gallery. The Frac Poitou-Charentes has acquired a triptych and the Frac Bretagne has acquired a series of drawings.
He is currently preparing a series of murals for a research laboratory at the University of Toulouse III.
