Lamarche - Ovize / Suites (tome 1)

This artistic duo, , Alexandre Lamarche et Florentine Ovize, has created an exceptional series of vivid drawings from a collection of botanic drawings found in the journals of a 19^th century explorer. Made in an edition of 4, this series of 7 plates was enhanced and painted over, some plants contaminating others and transforming the whole composition into a baroque botanic natural vision. Although the plants come from France, the profusion of each plate gives the impression of a piece of jungle full of vivid colors, with a sinuous line outlining each plant.
