Nathalie Talec’s fictional stories amaze by their scientific accuracy and their
conception, regardless of their material incarnation: songs, paintings, ornaments,
or neon vessels.
It is precisely this ease of appearing in various forms that makes the artist’s work
so difficult to capture. Her work is at the crossroads of great tradition and modernity. Her work of art is immediately recognisable, irrespective of the medium she decides to take on.

Nathalie Talec was born in 1960 in Paris, where she lives and work.
Since the 80's, she's mixed autobiography to science, experimentation, fiction and even reality. Her approach questions man status, the in-between situation and the link with duality, with her own figure, as a central part of her work. The exercise is pushed to its extreme and the artist becomes an explorer, discovering the Pole to conquer this fascinating cold and immortalize it on her photographes. A real cold, that stand as a metaphor of art, of the search of the vital and the absolut to which one aspires to. She expresses her feelings about the world with the multiplicity of the mediums, skillfully playing with sculpture, drawing, video and directing.
